New to Guess the Footballer?

Guess the Footballer is a free daily guessing game about football players. One footballer is hidden each day — the same for every player in the world — and you have six guesses to identify him. After every guess the board compares your pick with the hidden player across four clues: nation, position, birth year and the clubs of his career. Green means an exact match, yellow means close, and the arrows point towards the answer's birth year. Finish the puzzle and your streak grows; miss a day and nothing is lost. The game is free, needs no account, and works on phone or desktop — and a fresh footballer appears every day at midnight UTC.

How to read the hints

Every clue on this page narrows the field. Nation is green only for the exact country. Position compares the role — GK, DF, MF or FW — and is green only on an exact match. Born turns yellow within three years of the answer's birth year, and the arrows ▲ and ▼ show whether the hidden player was born earlier or later. Clubs turns yellow when the two players shared at least one club, with the shared clubs listed for you; green means their club careers match club for club.
